Sylvanian Critters
A pixel club for drawing and collecting little pixel art of Sylvanian Families (known as Calico Critters in North America). Sylvanian Families is a line of small flocked anthro animal figures from Japan that started being sold in 1985. The style of the figures has gone through several changes over the years, and this pixel club is based on the 2020s baby figures, with a focus on what animals are available in the baby blind bag series. Read and follow the rules, then you can grab a template and customise it however you like. You could turn it into a real Sylvanian that you own or want to own, turn it into one of your OCs, turn it into a fandom character, or anything else you can think of.
If you're new to pixel clubs, they're pieces of pixel art all based on the same template that you can make and 'adopt' from other people. Most people display them on pages 'toybox' pages or with other pixel clubs / pixel cliques. Wherever you display them, you must always give credit to the pixel club who made the template and whoever has drawn on top of it to create a new piece of pixel art.

How to Join
Rules
1. You must have a site that is customisable enough that you can make an image into a clickable link as that's how you need to link and credit the button for this pixel club and anyone else's critters who you adopt. Neocities, Nekoweb and any other hand-coded websites are allowed. I'm also going to allow Carrds, Strawpages, Art Fight profiles, customised Toyhouse profiles and customised Tumblr themes BUT only if you properly put the images on your site without hotlinking and with clickable linked images.
2. No hotlinking! Any images you take from here or other members pages need to be saved to your device and rehosted on your own site or file hosting website. Do not hotlink and 'copy image URL' to place them on your site.
3. No sites with bigoted or hate content! Also no sites with H*rry P*tter content regardless of whether you support it's author or not.
4. 18+ and NSFW sites are fine to join! Just have a warning on your page somewhere that states it's 18+ or on areas and pages that are 18+.
5. Don't make or submit NSFW sexual art or gore (a little blood is fine) to this pixel club (my personal perference for this project). Other than that you can make any original art or fanart (as long as it's not the aforementioned H*rry P*tter), you can edit the base to your hearts content by adding or taking away parts, change the lineart colour, and even animate it if you want too. You do have to build your drawing off one of the bases though, not just draw something entirely original.
6. Don't claim that your critter is 100% your own art as you are using a base that I have made. If you post your critter on your website, and also on any other sites or socials, you must explain that your critter was made for a pixel club and credit this pixel club for creating the base template and directly link back here. Do not use these templates/bases for any commercial use, NFTs or AI.
7. If you display your critter on your own website you can use the box code I've made to display them in, or you can use no box or make your own box. If you display and adopt anyone else's critters you must have their critters be clickable links that go back to their creators website to credit them. Whether you only display your own critter, others, or both, you must link back to this pixel club (ideally by using the button as a clickable link but a text link is also fine) as a way of crediting me for making the base. You can edit the box (change the background colour, text colour, font, headers, divider, how 'yours' vs 'others' critters are seperated) but do not remove the clickable button that credits this pixel club.
8. After making your critter feel free to submit it via the form below to have it displayed here in the full collection.
9. If you've read and understood all these rules then go ahead and grab a template below and start customising it! You can make as many as you want!

Box Code
Want a fun way to display your critters? I've drawn and coded this little pixel box for you to use. Do not use it for anything other than displaying art from this pixel club and do not take credit for making it yourself. Do not remove the clickable linked button from the bottom. You can edit the box (change the background colour, text colour, font, headers, divider, how 'yours' vs 'others' critters are seperated) but do not remove the clickable button that credits this pixel club. The font I used is Capone and the box code includes the code for inserting this font into your page if you want to download it and upload the font file to your website. I don't mind if you don't want to use this box, or you edit it, as long as you do not remove the credit (the clickable linked button at the bottom). If you don't want to use this box you must still include the button (and link it back to this page when clicked) wherever and however you choose to display your critters.
Code was inspired by Sticker Sheet Club and made with help from W3Schools and StackOverflow.

If you want a live example of what the box looks like on another website page here's what it looks like on my toybox page alongside other pixel clubs I've joined.
You need to copy and paste both of these pieces of code into your site
HTML Sylvanian Critters Pixel Club box code (put this between your body tags)
CSS Sylvanian Critters Pixel Club box code (put this between your head tags)
And you need to save these images yourself and upload them to your own website/host them privately on an image hosting website
