Ambrose grew up in a small town in Germany in the 1700s with his father, mother and two younger sisters. They didn’t grow up wealthy, but had a comfortable life.

By the time he was in his early twenties, Ambrose’s questioning over his gender had become fully realised and he attempted to come out to his family as a transgender man. He told his sisters first in private who were accepting, but then when he told his parents it did not go well. His parents rejected his gender identity and said that they wouldn’t allow him to be a boy.

As much as it hurt him to leave his sisters behind, Ambrose could not live in that town anymore. He knew he would never be safe and free to be himself if he was around his parents. With no place to go, he fled his home in the middle of the night.

He wandered for hours through the forest that ran along the back of his town until he found a grand house, tucket away in a clearing. Soaked and shivering from the rain that had been pouring down, he approached the house and knocked on the door.

Johann, a lonely widower and vampire, lived there alone and took Ambrose under his wing. His husband, Mathias, had been trans and while Johann was not, he understood some of what Ambrose was going through and offered him some of Mathias’ old clothes and let Ambrose live with him. What was going to be a temporary stay, extended as the two bonded. Yearning to be able to travel and find people like himself and hoping that one day his hometown would grow out of its closeminded-ness, Ambrose asked to be turned into a vampire so that he might live long enough to find his happiness. After much convincing, Johann agreed and sired Ambrose. Not wanting to see Ambrose so distressed by the reminders of his past, Johann taught Ambrose how to speak English and planned to move them to Mathias’ old home in England.

Several months later, a hunter broke into their house. He had been hired by Ambrose’s parents to find their daughter and slay the vampire who kidnapped her. Johann tried to convince the hunter that their daughter is already dead and no one should go looking for her, only for Ambrose to interrupt. He was tired of his parents trying to rule and ruin his life and would not have Johann be blamed for crimes he didn’t commit, or worse, be hurt in any way. The werewolf hunter, Arden, took the time to listen to their side of the story and felt ashamed for believing Ambrose’s parents lies. As a trans man himself, he understood why Ambrose fled. He apologised and told them that he would lie for them, that he’ll tell Ambrose’s parents he was too late and their daughter had been killed by the vampire. He assured Ambrose of how strong he was. When asked how Arden can be so sure of this this, he replied “because you’re like me, we’re self-made men”. Ambrose gave Arden a lock of his hair to give to his parents as ‘proof’ that Ambrose is dead and that Arden saw the body.

Before Arden could leave, Ambrose stopped him. He was intrigued by Arden and had never met another trans person before. He asked if Arden will visit him again as he has many questions he wants to ask. Arden felt guilty about everything and that Ambrose surely wouldn’t want him, but agreed. Arden mistook all of their friendly conversations during his visits for politeness and doesn’t realise Ambrose is flirting and attempting to court him. Over months the two fall for each other, but Ambrose doesn’t realise at first that Arden doesn’t understand what’s happening and that he needs things explained clearly to him. Neither have been in love before, but they couldn’t deny the connection and fondness they have for one another. Ambrose told Arden that he has a home here now, with him and Johann, and they confessed their desire and romantic feelings for one another.

They didn’t get a lot of their in their newfound little family, as Arden sensed trouble. He tracked Ambrose’s scent through the woods to the backpack of a human hunter. They worried that this means Ambrose’s parents have hired more hunters, that they didn’t believe Arden’s story. And so they made plans to bring the move to England forwards and flee as soon as they could.

They didn’t pack quickly enough. A few weeks later as Arden is patrolling the forest to make sure the house is safe, he smelt humans and burning wood creeping into the forest. A mob from Ambrose’s hometown was stalking through the woods towards Johann’s house. Arden attempted to reason with them, or if unsuccessful then kill them if it came to it.

Ambrose and Johann were discussing the move and Ambrose’s relationship with Arden, when Johann started to hear the commotion outside. He knew it was already too late. He urged Ambrose to flee, that Johann will keep the mob busy and by the time they realise Ambrose isn’t here he will already be far out of their reach. Johann tells Ambrose he’s happy that Ambrose found someone and calls Ambrose his son for the first time, before rushing to fight off the intruders.

While Arden rushed to the house, injured from trying to fight the entire mob on his own, the house became a bloodbath. Ambrose refused to leave. The mob entered the house, wrecking it, and while Johann put up a good fight, he was one old, tired vampire against almost twenty humans. The moment Johann’s body fell, Ambrose saw red. To this day he can’t remember what happened, just that angry overtook him and he became a monster.

When Arden arrived at the house, every single human was dead. There was blood everywhere, the bodies torn through and splayed out across the floor, and in the middle knelt Ambrose, cradling Johann’s body. Ambrose confesses what he had done, and that Johann is dead, expecting Arden to fear him as he know fears himself and leave. But Arden wasn’t going anywhere, he didn’t want to leave, he still wanted this life with Ambrose. And so he pledged himself to Ambrose, close to saying “I love you” but he held back and saved it for a time Ambrose was less distressed. Arden told Ambrose they couldn't stay there long, that they had enough time to bury Johann, but they had to move because people will realise soon that these humans aren’t coming home. He gathered things for Ambrose, as Ambrose said goodbye to Johann. Ambrose asked to keep Johann and Mathias’ wedding rings and a portrait of the two of them, reassured by Arden that no one will be mad at him for it. They buried Johann with the portrait he kept of just Mathias. After the grave was dug, and Johann is laid to rest, Arden promised Ambrose he will always come for him, and Ambrose promised he will always wait for him in return.

The two of them travelled to England safely and move into a castle that had belonged to Mathias. They reside there to this day, still in love and devoted to one another.

Personality

Ambrose is an extrovert who loves getting to know new people. He’s a big flirt with people he’s interested in and will inevitably cause them to be embarrassed in public, but is respectful and would tone things down if the other person was genuinely uncomfortable.

While appearing to be the softer of him and Ambrose, he’s actually the more dangerous one. While Arden appears to be the more protective one, Ambrose keeps these feelings inside but if someone hurts someone he loves he struggles to hold back the anger that boils inside him. He’s a much more powerful vampire than people think he is and is willing and capable of causing physical harm if someone causes physical harm to someone he loves.

He loves theatre, including musicals, ballets, plays and operas. He enjoys watching recorded theatre, but prefers seeing things live. Sometimes he can convince Arden to come along if in return Ambrose offers to go to a rock concert with him (though it is not common for Arden to go to either even if he enjoys them due to getting overstimulated). He loves classical music and playing the piano is something he and Johann bonded over.

Ambrose has PTSD from Johann’s death and from the sight of all the human hunters he killed while blacked out.

Appearance

These days Ambrose keeps his wavy, blonde hair long, though the night he ran away from his parents he cut it short in defiance but regretted it. He had cut it off because he worried having long hair would make people think he wasn’t really a man, that he wasn’t allowed to be a trans man and have long hair. He soon learnt this wasn’t true at all and grew it back.

When he was human his eyes were brown, but after being turned he inherited Mathias’ pink eye colour from him being Johann’s sire. At first Johann found it difficult to look at Ambrose, his eyes bringing back memories of his lost love, but eventually he came to see Ambrose as a way for Mathias to live on. When enraged, Ambrose's entire eyes can turn red, including his sclera. As a human he had rounded ears, and as a vampire he has pointed ones.

Ambrose is fairly thin. He doesn’t have much fat on his thighs, hips or arse. His hips are small but may look a little larger due to his small waist. He not had top or bottom surgery nor has he ever taken testosterone. He has A cup breasts and a vulva.

He prefers to wear ‘historical fashion’ clothing, mostly pieces that are either from or are made to look as though they’re from the late 1800s. He likes wearing frilly shirts, waistcoats, suits, lace and jewellery (he gets both ears pierced in the 1900s). He does not wear skirts or dresses as they make him feel dysphoric since he was forced to wear them throughout his time living with his parents. For sleepwear he wears old fashioned, long white night shirts.

Relationships

Alva: The middle child of the three siblings, younger than Ambrose and older than Addie. She’s was always the most sensible of the three and take care of Ambrose and Adelaide when they were sick, injured or was just their go to confidant. While hurt by Ambrose’s disappearance, she understood why he had to leave and tried her best to comfort Addie. The three siblings were very close and Ambrose used to fantasize about being their protective older brother, monitoring what suitors were trying to flirt with his sisters and all of that.

Adelaide: The youngest of the three siblings. She was a little gremlin and always getting into trouble, which Ambrose would try and get her out off without Alva or their parents finding out. She was inconsolable when Ambrose left and struggled to understand why he couldn’t have stayed for a long time. Eventually she understood why it wasn’t safe or healthy for him to stay, but wished he would have taken her with him or at least snuck back to visit them.

Arden: Ambrose’s partner, lover and most precious person. While the two of them met under what most would consider bad circumstances, they found each other at the perfect moment in their lives. While initially bonding over both being trans and non-humans who once were human, Ambrose quickly realises that Arden is someone who secretly wants and craves to be taken care off but thinks he’s isn’t allowed it. And Ambrose loves taking care of others. The two have been together for over three hundred years. They are both ambiamorous but in that they would welcome a third partner into their relationship, but are also happy to just be with each other. They could not and would not see other people without each other being involved.

Johann: When Arden calls Johann Ambrose’s ‘master’, Ambrose is uncomfortable and the closest thing he can think of to refer to Johann is ‘mentor. The two are dear friends, but also something more. Johann acts as a father figure to Ambrose, and if Mathias had still been alive the two would have happily become his new parents. Ambrose struggles with whether he thinks of Johann as a father due to his own horrible relationship with his parents. He’s conflicted between wanting no parents at all and rejecting the notion of them, with the knowledge that Johann would be a wonderful father and accepting him as such could be a way of healing.

Mathias: As Mathias died before Ambrose met Johann they’ve never met, but Ambrose feels Mathias’s impact on his life. Johann has told Ambrose that sometimes his passionate and flirtatious nature reminds him of Johann, though not disclosing until much later that Ambrose inherited Johann’s eyes. Ambrose feels a connected to Mathias despite not having met. He does have some of Mathias’ blood in his veins. He wishes he could have met Mathias, had an older trans man in his life to help guide him, and tries to honour Mathias memory.

Kinks

Ambrose is strictly a dominant, not a switch, he is very uncomfortable with being submissive and cannot be submissive. Even though Arden is a switch, he is happy to always be Ambrose’s submissive and they can also engage in sex without any dynamics. He is a vers and is happy to be penetrated but also enjoys wearing a strapless strap and penetrating his partner.

He loves taking care of others, having them depend on him, spoiling them, having them be obedient and eager to obey his commands, watching them fall into a subspace and knowing that he is there to catch them. He enjoys biting and drinking the blood of his partner, tying them up, dressing them in lingerie. For titles he enjoys being called ‘sir’ and ‘daddy’, mostly for the power dynamic and because they’re gender affirming. He enjoys the ‘daddy’ title as it leans into his sub trusting him to take care of them in a loving, caring way, but he doesn’t enjoy or engage in any age play or DDLB/DDLG kinks or scenarios.

He loves doing this for Arden. They can enjoy sex with no dynamics, scene or roleplay, but usually Ambrose is dominating Arden. They engage in pet play scenarios where Arden is Ambrose’s good pup and call him ‘sir’, wears a collar, and listens and waits for Ambrose’s commands, desperate to be his good puppy. Usually Arden is the one penetrating Ambrose, Ambrose telling him he can he a good stud and fuck him, as Arden does have bottom dysphoria. However, a planned scene they enjoy indulging in occasional is Ambrose hypnotising Arden into thinking he’s in heat, teasing him for having such a needy puppy cunt, telling him he needs to be bred to make the pain go away.

There are some things Ambrose doesn’t enjoy himself, but does enjoy watching Arden participate in. While he is not comfortable with being dominated, he does enjoy watching Arden dominate others, breeding them into his good pups. If Ambrose was involved in the scene, he would be in charge, either teaching and training his new pup to be able to take Arden and then letting Arden lose on them, or cooing over both of them while they’re in pup sub spaces.
