Lore

Lysander grew up poor, in an orphanage, where he often struggled due to his health problems and disabilities. The city he is from is ruled not by royalty, but by an organisation that has it's own private army. They take in children, often those with any innate magical ability, and train them into soldiers. They hoard wealth and medicine, under the guise that they are making sure the only medicine that is out there is 'good quality' that they themselves check over, meanwhile in reality they just want to be able to charge as much as they want for medication to make themselves richer.

As Lysander grew up, he honed his magic, wishing for himself to become stronger, and started paying to the God of War. He wanted a better life for the people he'd grown up around, and was tired of being in pain, his life hindered by not being able to afford better medication and healthcare. What started as just himself and a few others from the orphanage, grew into an entire team of people helping steal from the organisation and smuggle in medicine from other cities and kingdoms. He wasn't strong enough yet, or had an army sizeable enough to take the organisation down, but for now he could at least make some people's lives better.

At some point, Lysander receives correspondence from a King from nearby Kingdom. King Lucien found out about the trouble that was going on in Lysander's city and wanted to help. He started arranging meetings between them, despite Lysander's distrust of him. Lysander has never been able to put any trust or faith in people who are in positions of power, whether employers or politicians or royalty, but Lucien seems so... nice. Good. And that can't be right? Lysander couldn't believe someone could be that nice without something ot gain, without some agenda.

But as time passes, Lucien proves himself to really just be doing this out of the goodness of his heart, because he sees goodness in Lysander. Lysander believes what he's doing is right, that he's doing it for the good of other people, but he doesn't believe he's a good person. Yet Lucien tells him that he is. And it annoys Lysander because it makes him... feel.

And Lucien ends up helping too much, or doing something to help that makes Lysander feel inept. Who does Lucien think he is? Swooping in with his riches and power? Doing this that Lysander couldn't because he didn't have the money or his body would give out on him? And maybe Lysander takes it as Lucien trying to make him feel small and poor, but that isn't how Lucien meant it. And Lysander knows that deep down. But it's easier to get angry at Lucien than accept that it's okay if he wants or needs help. So instead he gets angry.

Lysander knows he's wrong for blowing up at Lucien, for pushing him away. And after spending time feeling sorry for himself, he goes to see Lucien. He shows up at Lucien's doorstop and apologies. And Lucien just... accepts it. This stupidly kind mind just accepts it and says he understand and he apologies for overstepping, that he should have consulted Lysander, that he didn't want to cross any boundaries. Lucien tells him that he's been doing a good job and that wall inside him just comes crumbling down.

For the first time, Lysander stays the night, in his own room that Lucien has set aside for him. And in the morning Lucien invites him for breakfast. And then on a walk, touring his gardens, and Lysander snaps and asks what the fuck all of this is. And Lucien says he just wants to help, but admits over time he has developed one ulterior motive. And Lysander thinks yes, finally, he's got him. But then Lucien says "I just wanted an excuse to keep seeing you".

Lysander calls him a stupid man. Blusters and tries to act like he doesn't understand what Lucien is getting at. But he does. And Lucien just stands there patiently, until Lysander has finished ranting, and then asks Lysander if he can court him. If he can kiss him.

And finally, Lysander says yes.

When Lysander sees Lucien's scars for the first time, he realises that Lucien too has received blessings from the God of War, and it makes him revaluate Lucien more. For one to be so dedicated a follower and be blessed with a gift… Lucien must have faced hardships too. He must have been through something that made War take notice of him. It hits Lysander hard, makes him reconsider his thoughts about Lucien, his assumption that Lucien has had an easy, spoiled life.

Personality

Lysander is very confident in himself and what he wants. He doesn't care if the organisation paints him as a villain, as long as people are receiving the benefits of his work. He is extremely protective of his team and at times feels guilty and unworthy of their loyalty and dedication to him. He can be charming and flirtatious with those he's interested in, but if someone else charms and flirts with him first he can get quite flustered. He's not used to being the object of other's affections, and with Lucien he doesn't make the first move despite his attraction out of his distrust of those in positions of power.

Appearance

Lysander is tall, with black hair and blue eyes. He is lean, his ribs visible through his skin to his poor health, with moles covering his body and very little body hair. He is almost always seen with his leg brace on, which can leave imprints and bruises on his skin after he takes it off. Some scars scatter his body from getting into various fights. His flame shaped top surgery and bottom surgery scars due to them being gifts from the God of War. His demon linage has given him slightly pointed ears and given him an easier time learning magic, but he's still mortal.

He likes to wear tight fitting clothing, both to act as a compression that helps with his body's aches and pains, and layering loose fabric over the top when he needs to keep warm but also to help him move easily and quickly. His clothes are often a bit ragged and torn as fixing them isn't a priority and he and his team are not wealthy. His leg brace and any other metals he wears are silver in colour, but actually are steel or iron or other non-precious metals.

Relationships

Lucien: They start out as allies, though Lysander is distrustful of Lucien's intentions at first. Until Lucien breaks through Lysander's walls and shows he truly does want to help Lysander's people, but also that he's fallen in love with him. That they both have fallen in love with each other.

God of War: Lucien has worshiped the God of War and recieved a blessing from him in the form of his physical gender transition.

Kinks

As a dom, Lysander likes having power over others, instructing others on what to do, tying them up and restraining them, being clothed while his sub is naked, and even roleplaying into the 'big bad villain seduces you' dynamic, collaring and a bit of pet play. Lysander has plugged up his "needy, pathetic, dribbling cock" before.

Lysander struggles with being submissive because he doesn't want to be seen as weak and thus has a hard time asking for helping, even though he does enjoy subbing. As a sub, he enjoys feeling taken care of, no punishments or threats just soft domming. Lucien's put Lysander in chastity before, but as a way to help Lysander learn that all he has to do is ask to come, ask to be touched, and Lucien always will, and unlearn his stubbornness and fear of asking for help with anything.
